I have a vehicle with a lug nut cover not actual lug nuts. My car has been in there for service several times for service in the past. For whatever reason, they attempted to take off the "lug nuts" and cracked/broke the plastic off of one. I told them what had happened and they said are you sure it was like that when you dropped it off. I assume they took my word for it and said things like that do occasionally happen and apologized. They then hand wrote a note on my invoice of the issue. I'm not quite sure what that will do for me, it wasn't even noted in their system for any future reference. They did not offer to pay for the damage and said that they would not pay for the damage because they didn't know if this was previous damage. WOW. Be a true company and stand up and admit when you make a mistake and correct the problem and make it right. I am going to have a hard time recommending or returning to this facility again.
