I don't normally write reviews but after my recent experience at Simms Steakhouse I have too! This place was amazing! I went a few years ago when it was still Simms Landing and it was just ok. The new decor and menu are great! The servers were all very friendly and made great suggestions. Great view of Denver too. It is a bit pricey, but I don't mind spending that kind of money now and then when the food and service are as good as they were. I noticed the manager made it a point to visit every table to ensure everyones meal was cooked to their liking. The tuna appetizer was delicious! I ordered the mahi mahi which was to good to even try to describe. My date ordered the filet minion which was also very good but was missing the bacon wrapping that she loves. Dessert we ordered the souffle, which as our waitor described correctly as cotton candy for adults! It was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten! The only reason I didn't give it a a full five stars is because they don't seem to have a coat rule. I am sorry Denver but dress up a little when you go to a nice resturant! It tends to kill the mood when you are seated next to some jacka$$ that doesn't feel like putting on some sort of dress cloths and is sitting there in jeans and a flannel shirt! It isn't just this resturant that I have noticed this in, seems like just about every fancy resturant in the city is like this anymore.
