I brought in a Sony DVD/VCR upscaling player with a jammed VCR tape to be fixed. I paid the required $75 fee for an estimate to repair the unit, which the electronic technician later determined to be over $350. The original cost of player purchased in 2009 was $180. ABL should have warned about potential high cost to fix, since they have been around for many years and probably see this problem often. Seems outragous. Beware.
