I brought in a Sony DVD/VCR upscaling player with a jammed VCR tape to be fixed. I paid the required $75 fee for an estimate to repair the unit, which the electronic technician later determined to be over $350. The original cost of player purchased in 2009 was $180. ABL should have warned about potential high cost to fix, since they have been around for many years and probably see this problem often. Seems outragous. Beware. more

Great store to get appliances fixed 10/15/2005

I have had several items repaired at ABL Electronics and have been very happy with the work done and the prices. Sometimes its cheaper to repair an old TV or VCR than to replace it. You can get a quote before any work is done to see if that is feasible for you. more
