I'm deaf, and I can still confirm what rusticcowboy said. My skill in lip reading is exceptional. The irony here is that the staff at Willowtree was not deaf friendly. As in no sign language, and poor understanding on how to face a deaf person when talking. Yet I was appalled by some of the many things I've seen them say to each other. 2 in particular derogatory about me. Which makes me wonder about what I didn't see them say.
Very unprofessional office, and am surprised that they are allowed to practice dentistry.
I went in to address a tooth ache. They informed me that I should have it extracted. When they extracted it, something awry occurred (with a resounding snap) that left me in excruciating pain. I would provide very detailed reports on what I was feeling and where. The dentist kept telling me he could see nothing wrong, and due to this, did nothing. I spent my own time researching and attempting to find what the problem was. Meanwhile they kept saying nothing was wrong, and doing silly stuff like prescribing toothpaste and mouth rinse. I say silly, because it ended up being that he broke a large piece of bone that ended up inside the gum that was trying to heal. The bone ended up working it's way out. When I say large piece, I'm in no way taking about bone slivers (which can be a common occurrence) .. but rather the whole side of bone that wrapped around the tooth.
It's now been 10 months, and the two end pieces of the break are protruding into the gum that healed around them. Constant pain 24/7, which has robbed me of so much of my life. I'm in the process of pursuing legal action. I've tried for far too long to get them to handle their error and responsibility. The dentist is either poorly trained, or simply tried to cover it up. I've been to 2 specialists and another dentist since. They've all told me what's occurred and can't believe Willow Tree allowed this to happen, and not even follow through on it, at the very least. They also cannot help me for 2 reasons. It's another dentist's mess, and if they did go in and cut and file the ends (about all they have the option to do) .. they won't because I will lose the neighboring tooth. The end pieces are barely holding them in place, and are loose as is. I also am not able to replace the tooth with an implant, or anything else, due to this.
I implore you to not use Willow Tree, and to look around at the many reviews on the web. You'll discover a massive amount of bad reviews for this place. I regret having not checked into their office, before allowing them to work on my teeth.
