Old fashioned quality service. I have a Rowenta (read expensive) Iron which started leaking. I found Turnpike Applicance on Rowenta's site. I live in Manhattan and there was no place here. I email them to make sure they did service Rowenta. I got an immediate answer from Scott the President. Since someone who works with me lives near Commack, he told me have them just drop the Iron off.
A few days ago a brand new top of the line Iron arrived in the mail from Rowenta. So without any nagging, complaining, or even asking (I fully expected to pay for a repair) Scott arranged for Rowenta to replace the Iron.
NO CHARGE, NO HASSLE, NO PHONE CALLS.
In fact I had to email them a thank you note before I could be 100% sure the replacement was their doing.
GREAT SERVICE, the way it should be.
