I have lived at Robin Run for a year and a half. I just love it. The people are so very friendly, but you have to be friendly yourself to get the most from it. The food is very good, the variety splendid, and balance wonderful. There are ALWAYS fresh fruits and salads, a choice of seven or eight entrees every meal.\r

Upon reading the other reviews, several people are very misinformed. Our rates go up no bigger percentage than any other retirement continuing care community. Last year was less than 5%. With the cost of everything going sky-high, I didn't feel that was unreasonable.\r

There are lots of activities. I am involved in several of them and enjoy them all. There is volunteer work that you can get hooked on. As a wing representative, I know almost everyone that lives in the tower and a lot from the garden homes.\r

The transportation sevice is excellent. You can't wait until the last minute to fit into the schedule because they are so busy, but for normal appointments, I have never had a problem. The wait after your appointment to be picked up is very good. Once in a while it might take an hour, but many times, I am picked up with 15 minutes. The driver's are friendly, caring, and excellent drivers.\r

Maintenance is very fast, especially if it is a heating, cooling, or water problem. Housekeeping is terrific. \r

We have work staff that has been here for years. They are friendly, helpful, and always ready to listen if you have a problem.\r

Unlike the one reviewer said, we have a service that comes in every week to do the lawn service, grass cutting, tree trimming, mulching, spraying, etc. and a snow removal service that is johnny-on-the-spot. I hear them outside plowing and blowing snow in the middle of the night after every storm.\r

No place is perfect, but Robin Run is surely a wonderful place to live. I would move here again in a minute and I plan on being here for years, happy and satisfied.\r
