I need a new hairdresser after the one I have for 6 years moved to LA. I am leary but full of hope when I read Charmed's reviews. I called and asked for someone good at short hair. I was asked basic questions like the style of my hair, how short, etc. Then I was referred to Lou.\r
My hair looks good even after 5 weeks because in my opinion it's the technique a great hairdresser like mine does to my hair that really counts. So I had asked Lou to just clean it up same style same thing. I already can tell because of her techniques that my hair will not look as good as it was. I was very disappointed.\r

But the shock was the next morning when I washed it and blow dry it. I have a straight and corse thick hair. So I apply a smoothing balm to my wet hair. After blow drying it, my hair at the back were stanfding up. I sometimes use a paste sparingly to just give it a little texture, however that morning I used a lot of paste to keep my hair down! My hair was uneven on the sides because she did not touch it. \r

All in all, the $45 charge was worth one of those places you go for $10. I learned a lesson that day. It's better to get a referral from someone who has had a personal experience and who have gone there repeatedly because of a great service.
