I brought in my dog December 12th to be examined. Lucy had been short of breath, lethargic, generally not herself. I waited a couple hours while tests were run. All tests came back favorable or inconclusive. I was sent home with antibiotics and a cough suppressant. The antibiotics seemed to help, but only marginally, and Lucy never returned back to normal. Tragically, Lucy passed away in the early morning of the 22nd, and just having finished the antibiotic prescription. Although the sincerity and customer service that followed the examination (staff called for several days following the appointment to follow up), I do think that from a veterinary standpoint someone should have asked further questions from a case involving an animal with problematic symptoms yet returned all normal test results. More thinking outside the box and less “cure with a pill” protocol. Perhaps this could have changed the nature of this review. \r
