I was a regular customer there for years and when they went under new ownership, didn't think much of it. I didn't know how they could improve the quality of food, service or the warmness of the wait staff. I was in for a rude surprise. The food quality isn't the same - it's not bad but there's a difference I can't quite place my finger on. The menu hasn't changed basically but some of their offerings have lost some of it's unique flavors that made this restaurant stand out originally. As far as the wait staff - what wait staff is everyone talking about? Everyone time I've returned in the past 6 months, there's only one woman who waits tables. Granted I usually go there on week days and for lunch on Saturdays so perhaps there is an actual wait staff in the evenings. However if you go there for lunch on any day, be prepared for lousy service. I don't know why there is only one person waiting on the entire restaurant during the day but apart from standing on the table to get her attention, you will remain at your table for some time before she looks over in your direction. There was a slight increase in prices and the portions have been slightly reduced but it's not a big deal unless you want a lot for your money. All in all, it's an okay place to go but it's not the same atmosphere it used to be.
