I should have done my homework before going to Toscana Salon. If I would have read the online reviews, I would have never set foot there. My experience was a good one until Jennifer, the owner, called me the night of service and said that there was a mistake on my bill. She then proceeded to say that I owed her money because her employees made a mistake. I was in complete disbelief. Is this good business? Do you call a client after they have paid and left and tell them that they need to come back and pay the difference? To my disadvantage, on that day I had purchased a gift card. She told me she was deducting from my gift card what her employees neglected in charging me. I told her I did not agree with it because it was not my fault. She was then very condescending and said that it was obvious that there was a mistake and that I probably thought I was getting a good deal. Is this professional? For $75 she lost a good client with her family and friends. Was it really worth it?
