I am very disappointed with my experience at Toscana. They will never touch my hair again.
I wanted hair extensions. I have had great success with fusion extensions and that is what I wanted. They persuaded me to get track extensions stating they were better for my hair. I agreed and ordered them. I was told they were going to be ordered the following day. They were not and the reason I was given was that there was a death in the family. I am flexible but what I would like to know is why does the owner not have an assistant manager to run the salon in her absence.
I called two weeks after my consultation to discover the death in the family and was told the extensions were not ordered but they would be ordered that day and I would be notified as soon as they arrived. I was not and I had to call. I was told the owner would put them in. She didn't originally. She came into the salon because I was not happy with how I looked.
An order of track extensions typically consists of five pieces. I was only given two but paid for a full order. I did not like the way these extensions made me look. They are difficult to work with and therefore I have not worn them since I bought them. They are sitting flat in a dresser drawer. I will now return to the original salon that did my fusions.
As part of my track extension experience, my natural hair needed to be colored. Fine, no problem. Well, I have two inch roots after two weeks (this is supposed to be permanent color). I called the salon and they will correct the color but I must pay an additonal $50. That is unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just spent $300 two weeks ago. I should not have to pay anything at this point. Permanent hair color does not do this in two weeks. They should correct their error!!! How dare they want to charge me at this point.
Oh, they do great massages, pedicures, and sugaring.
