The practice of over-charging and stressing unneeded overnight visits seems to be a common thread here. I brought my dog here at 2:00 in the morning because he was showing symptoms of bloat. They took him in and later told me his stomach was filled with air and they had put a tube down his throat to relieve the pressure because they couldn't make him burp. They recommended he be held overnight for "observation" to the tune of $1200. Really? $1200 for gas? I told them I would stay up with him; the bill ended up being $500 as it was. While I appreciate they were kind to him, I would have appreciated more if they had just told me he needed Gas-X and let it go at that.
