I just moved to NYC and was apprehensive about finding a new Dentist. A coworker suggested the DDS practice to me. \r

Let me start off by saying - I have always HATED my dentists. But DDS Group is really one in a million. \r

My hygenist was Josephine. She was great! She welcomed me and put me at ease (as much ease as you can be at the dentist). She asked me why I had come in, if I had any concerns, and then she walked me through what she she would be doing. During the cleaning, she communicated effectively (telling me to turn my face instead of just turning it herself) and was very calming. \r

Usually my hygienist hurt me during the cleaning, but Josephine was really great and it didn't hurt once (and yes, I am a complete baby when it comes to pain).\r

Oh and never once did she try to ask me stupid questions while her hands were in my mouth (isn't that the worst). \r

Dr. John Stanescu was my dentist. He has a wonderful bedside manner. Very young, friendly, outgoing. He had a great energy that made me feel very comfortable. \r

If you live and work in the financial district is it is very convenient and I did not have to wait long for my appointment at all. Every receptionist, office manager, and employee that I came in contact with while there was extremely nice and professional. \r
