I bought my Mini S Convertable new in 06' from Brecht and have had nothing but problems with the service dept.. They had to replace the top because the rubber molding was falling a part and when I went to pick it up there was a large gap between the top and the windshield. I told them it wasn't right and the tech came out finally and told me I was wrong.... The car wash told me I was very right. This wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't been the second time I had to pay someone to drive me from San Diego to Escondido for this same top issue. The first time, they only replaced the rubber around the driver's window and not around the back window. The reason I think they didn't is because that would require the top being replaced. So now I have to leave it again...... and now I just spoke to the service manager and Jim tells me that he can't be bothered to ask the tech how long it will take to do this repair. This has been the worst experience over the course of 4 years that I have ever had with an auto dealer. Save yourself a huge headache and don't buy from these folks.....they don't deserve your hard earned money.
