I lived in Sylvania in the 80s, and I still haven't found a thin-crust pizza that's equal to J & G's (although the Black Pelican in Kittyhawk, NC comes close). J & G's dining room is small and was usually packed, so I got in the habit of calling ahead for carry-out. Many of the other locals did the same thing becuase the wait for a table on a busy night could be daunting. While at a conference in Sarasota, FL several years ago, I was talking to a woman who had just moved to Findlay, OH from Chicago. Somehow we got on the topic of pizza, and she said that she'd ""stumbled"" on the best thin-crust pizza she'd ever had -- at a pizza place with an odd name near Toledo. Was she surprised when I correctly guessed that she'd eaten at J & G's. BTW, they also make absolutely authentic gyros -- but I really miss that pizza!!
