We were almost dissuaded by the many negative reviews about the service at Bistro Provence, but decided we would make our own minds up about this new addition to the Bethesda restaurant scene. We are GLAD that we did. It was one of the best meals we have had in recent years, and the service was fabulous for our group of three women celebrating a birthday. A complimentary tiny crab cake with a red pepper sauce was sent to our table by the chef, and we agreed that it was one fo the best we had ever had. The entrees and vegetable dishes were delicious -- properly prepared and served and we had a fabulous evening. Some of my friends have subsequently gone there on my recommendation and had terrific meals. Try it, you'll like it!
