We have Sony 61"" rear screen projection TV. We really enjoy the ""big screen"" vs the letterbox formats of the new sets. When the picture became blurry and lost brightness we were concerned that we were facing an expensive repair (or the unthinkable, a new TV). We found Jim Ackley's In Home TV Repair by doing a Google search for TV repair services in our area. The review on CitySearch indicated that he stood by his estimates and did quality in-home repairs. Our experience lived up to the reviewer's experience. Instead of ordering a replacement circuit board, Jim found the bad components (two capacitors) and replaced them. He did all of the troubleshooting and repairs in one visit. He carried the replacement parts in his vehicle. What more could you ask!!
