Our dog and my son's dog got into a "domination struggle" and our dog wound up on the short end with an inch long gash on his leg. Wouldn't you know it was after closing at our regular vet, and I had no clue what to do...until I called our vets office hoping SOMEONE would answer. Their answering machine referred us to EBVE, so off we went. I have to say that I thought the price was a big high ($500. to clean the wound, suture it, and send him home with meds) however if you think about it, they are just like the emergency room for us humans - you don't really think about the cost when it's an emergency - you're just grateful they are there. Overall I felt they offer a good service for a slightly higher than normal price (pretty much what I expected). The only real complaint I have is that you have to go back when they're done working on your animal...that 2:00 a.m. trip across town to pick up our dog wasn't fun.
