We sold our car to CARMAX Riverside and immediatly filed with DMV. Day after sale car cited and ticket sent to me saying I had failed to pay toll fee. Sent DMV copy of my filing and I am off the hook.\r \r \r How does the notice of transfer and release of liability protect me?
