Recently while away my dog got away from its caregiver. A concerned citizen tried to find where he belonged but his tags were at home. Thinking they were doing a good thing they brought him to the Humane Society. It was on a Sunday and the caregiver tried to claim him after getting all the required paperwork but was refused because they were ""closed"". When she went to pick him up the next morning he was crying and whining and covered in urine. How could this happen to a cared for animal in less than 24 hours. What happens to animals that don't have caring owners worrying about them and looking for them? God help those poor animals because no one will care for them at this ""humane"" society.
