I needed to have a silk dress fitted for an upcoming weeding. I proceeded to call the owner on Saturday, Aug 14, 2010 in the morning...as per his request… he said he will start working on the dress and would call me when he finished. The owner called me back and said the dress was done. I showed up within the hour, I had my daughter with me. I tried on the dress and went to look at it in the mirror he had already sat down and started to work on something else. I saw that there was thumb print stain on the front of the dress...and the dress was too tight...The dress is brand new! He didn't even look up from the work he was doing...As almost he knew, he continued to ignore me...I asked if he knew why there was a stain in clear view on the front of the dress, he proceeded to say it's not my fault and I needed to pay the bill. I asked him nicely if he would come over and please talk to me about the situation, because every since I walked in the door he was too busy working and could care less about customer service. He said I don't need to come over and talk to you, I’m not your child...I said can we bring it over to the cleaners and have it looked at, he said pay the bill. I went in the dressing room and took it off. He proceeded to come over to me at that point in a hurry to grab the dress in a rush…I had my daughter with me and she started to get scared, he was trying to grab the dress. I grabbed my daughter and proceeded out the door with my dress. I called the police because he was extremely hostile, he keep saying; I’m going to call the police, at that point I knew this was going too far and I called the police, he was telling me he knew people?! Two police cars showed up as I waited in my car, the police took a statement from me, I had my husband come and pay for the dress, I didn't want to be any-where near him, he was too hostile and screaming. The police followed my husband in to pay for the dress and he was screaming and yelling. When my husband walked out to spoke to the police officers, the owner came running out ranting and raving that he wanted both the Police officers names...he is rude, out of control. I paid for the dress ($55.00) and proceed to drop it off at the dry cleaners to try to have it cleaned. I have looked into this business and the owner and since then, have discovered that the police have been over there numerous times and that there are many negative reviews on the business owner. He is a terrible asset to Delmar.\r
