Not the holy grail I thought :( 8/26/2010

EDITED REVIEW: I first went to New Beginnings (and Sara) last summer and was extremely pleased. I really thought that I had found ""the salon"" that I would frequent hopefully for years to come. Ah, this was not to be. After waiting several months for another haircut, I went back and the had a totally opposite experience to my first visit. It's too bad too- my hair had finally grown full and long and just needed a trim. After running errands that day, I went home to find my hair totally uneven and considerably shorter than I wanted. I was crushed because I had such high hopes for the place. I was so disappointed I went back to have it fixed. Unfortunately I left with my hair not in better shape. I actually had to go for a THIRD haircut (at a different place, also a disappointment) in the hopes of finally evening out my cut. To no avail- I went home and trimmed my hair myself to get it even. Now my hair is so short I won't need another haircut for another 6 months. It's hard to believe one can go from having such a positive experience to such a negative one but the service was very inconsistent and I won't be going back. Bye New Beginnings, it was good to know ye. more
