My car had been sideswiped at the airport while I was away. There was no physical damage but the paint had been scuffed up. The car that I have that was damaged was a brand new Volkswagen so I called VW, the one here in Cedar Rapids, and they said they always use Bob Mickey Collision Center. The next person I talked to was my insurance agent in New Mexico, and she said I would need to work with a State Farm approved body shop, so I told them who I had in mind, she looked them up, and everything fell into place.
Everything turned out great. I couldn't have asked for anything better. They had to remove some protective plastic to paint, but otherwise you can't tell there's been damage to my car. There's nothing to indicate I had the car worked on other than the scuffs are gone, so I'm extraordinarily pleased. I'm happy with the work, they treated me like a human being, not an opportunity to make money. The whole thing moved smoothly from the time I first called them to when I picked the car up. They even handled the rental car.
