Bob Mickey Collision Center

The experience with getting my vehicle fixed here was painless from start to finish! They gave me a quick estimate, handled all the communication with the insurance company of the woman who hit me, got me scheduled for the repair quickly, had the rental waiting for me, and fixed my car perfectly. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, proactive, and helpful! I would certainly go back if I had a need! more

When I dropped the car off for repair, I was told that it would be 5 business days for the repairs. I was also given a link to monitor the repairs online. I have had my car repaired here before, so I knew what to expect. I waited until day 2 to check the status. There were photos from Day 1 and Day 2 on the web site. Also the web page indicated that the repairs would be completed in only 4 days. On day 3, the web site showed me a customer survey. I found that rather odd, as the repairs were not yet complete. That was the end of any status updates. I never saw any more photos of progress. The web page kept indicating that the repairs would be done in 4 days. Not hearing anything nor getting any updated status from the web site, on Day 5, the day after the web page said the repairs would be completed, I called the shop. Not only were the repairs not done, but they wouldn't be done until day 6. I complained about the lack of communication/status updates. I have had previous good experiences, but this one was the worst I have had at the shop. more

I had an accident back in 2009 and they fixed my car for me. Recently I was rear ended, and I remembered what a good job they did so I went back and they did an excellent job again. At the end of the job they cleaned the car up inside and out, I thought that was the parsley on the plate. Trent and Shriver I think his name was were both excellent. more

Everything's just super. I have known about Bob Mickey Collision Center for 20-something years and have used them before. The owner is a personal friend, and his son now runs the business. He is a close friend of my son, too, so you can see the closeness here. They provide top-notch quality service, all the way around. more

The customer service at Bob Mickey's was one of the reasons I chose them. When I went in to get my estimate done, I had my 1 year old son with me. Some one actually came out of the office building and carried my diaper bag and purse inside for me. They even played peekaboo with him from their desk. I knew right then and there that there was no point in getting any other estimates done because my mind was already made up. more

I think, number one, Bob Mickey Collision Center is extremely knowledgeable, and I think their environment there is wonderful. By that, I mean besides being knowledgeable, it's so clean there. They make you fell so comfortable, and everything they do allows you to understand what it is they do and why they do it. When I went to Bob Mickey Collision Center for an estimate they got me right in. They were very fast and very professional. There was one thing that the adjuster did not put on the estimate, even though they knew it was a problem, and Bob Mickey Collision Center took care of it. They were great. They were very thorough and very fast. It was my first time using them, and it was not a big repair. They didn't have to do any paint or major body work, so they got me in really quick and had the truck ready by mid to late afternoon. The truck looked great. It was all washed and cleaned on the inside as well. It is an older truck, and it practically looked new. They did a really good, professional job. The guys there were great. I would recommend them to anybody. more

Bob Mickey Collision Center was extremely helpful. I was hit last August, and I went in for an estimate after work. They close at 5:30, and I got in there at 5:20. They stayed past closing to make sure I had everything I needed. They set up a time that was convenient for me to work on the car. I was going out of town, and they made sure the car would be in and out by the time I got back. Everything went great; I was very impressed. The car looked great; I couldn't tell it had been in an accident. The inside was cleaned, which was nice, and the outside was washed. It made me feel like I was in a brand new car. I would refer them to absolutely anybody. Their service was above and beyond what I expected. more

I had body work that I needed done, and I went in to Bob Mickey Collision Center. They got me in very quickly and went over the vehicle with me. They also went over everything in the estimate and why it was included. They let me know when they had an opening for service and got the car in. They had very good customer service. I felt they were very helpful throughout the entire process. When I walked in everyone smiled and talked to me. The car turned out beautifully. They did a very nice job; I can't tell there was even damage. They also made sure I was happy with work. more

I crashed my truck and Bob Mickey Collision Center fixed it for me. The only real issue I had was that it took 2 months. However, it was legit because my truck is a Toyota, and they had to wait for the parts to come in. I don't know that there was anything they could have done about it, but I had no AC for 2 months. Other than that everything was good. They did a nice job, and they did it efficiently. I would recommend them. Anybody going there without a foreign car would probably get their work done quickly. more

My car had been sideswiped at the airport while I was away. There was no physical damage but the paint had been scuffed up. The car that I have that was damaged was a brand new Volkswagen so I called VW, the one here in Cedar Rapids, and they said they always use Bob Mickey Collision Center. The next person I talked to was my insurance agent in New Mexico, and she said I would need to work with a State Farm approved body shop, so I told them who I had in mind, she looked them up, and everything fell into place. Everything turned out great. I couldn't have asked for anything better. They had to remove some protective plastic to paint, but otherwise you can't tell there's been damage to my car. There's nothing to indicate I had the car worked on other than the scuffs are gone, so I'm extraordinarily pleased. I'm happy with the work, they treated me like a human being, not an opportunity to make money. The whole thing moved smoothly from the time I first called them to when I picked the car up. They even handled the rental car. more
