My dog got punched in the face by a raccoon on our fence and fell back on tail. She couldn't get comfortable, kept pacing but every time she laid down she'd whimper a little when she bumped tail. I brought her in to TLC, the vet could feel it was badly sprained, not broken. Needless to say my dog was muzzled. Was in and out of there in 25 minutes with pain pills and Rimadyl and, although I don't remember what I paid, it was not enough to gasp about. Will definitely go there again in an emergency.
For all of you who need animals put to sleep, call 911VETS, and they come right to your house and do it. Have used Dr. Weinberg in the West Hollywood area and every time he has been there within a few hours. Kind, gentle and please don't stress out your animal anymore by bringing them to a strange, cold, sterile vet's office. Don't we all want to die in our own bed?
