I moved to Minneapolis in February... in the middle of my graduate school program. As an undergraduate, I had the most amazing hole-in-the-wall coffee house that was my sanctuary for escaping to a cozy atmosphere in which I could happily accomplish my homework. I've been needing a new place to go since my move to Minneapolis, but given the size of the city, I'd been dreading it. At any rate, today I went out and walked into nearly a dozen different coffee houses in the uptown area. I nearly settled on a different one until I stumbled upon this place. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was my new sanctuary. It's got cozy interior, complete with old couches and artwork on the wall. The place has character. Has a nice outdoor area as well. Staff have been great-super friendly. Their selections and prices are good, the coffee and tea I've had warranted no complaints, and the food I ate was delicious! They are playing a radio station... which isn't super appealing to me as a music choice, but given the rest of the place it's a small price to pay for a place to hang out literally all day while you are writing a paper.
