On a recent weekend away, my girlfriends and I made the trip to The Buttery. Plenty of street and lot parking; a busy, busy place indeed. I am partial to breakfast and coffee/pastry houses and found The Buttery to be very good and a place to which I would return. Crowded, yes, but there are tables outside and cozy bench seating on the patio. We were delighted by a small Irish band performing indoors - such a nice treat! We ordered croissants, frittatas, and the cinnamon raisin roll from the bakery (not the breakfast counter). I enjoyed the tender roll after changing my order from the ham/cheddar croissant (not able to warm/nuke items and cheese rolls really need a quick reheat). A friend ordered the veggie frittata which we shared and it was yummy. Even sitting outside on an overcast morning, it was a perfectly fine stop for fresh pastries on a Sunday.
