Before my last experience I considered it marginal but worth trying again, but not now.
We traveled over an hour to get there (obviously not their problem how far we are from their location) just to arrive to signs that said "Closed for private party, open again at 10AM tomorrow." I fully understand the importance of group events to any business in the entertainment industry. But there is a HUGE difference between serving private parties in a portion of your facility and completely closing your retail business during normal operating hours. I recognize the allure of the massive contract for a big money event but ownership/management knew darn well that closing a facility that a retail customer base should be safe in assuming is open for business would inconvenience ordinary customers.
Without a doubt, someone made the decision to blow off the rank and file customers in lieu of a greedy, big sale. Even worse, when I clarified with the attendants outside just to make certain that indeed they were randomly closed to the public (I asked them politely without the sarcasm I'm displaying here), the customer friendly response received was "Yea, sorry bout that."
As a business owner myself, I an fairly sure Bullwinkles made tens upon tens of thousands of dollars from selling out to their greed last night. It would take dozens or hundreds of turned away customers like myself to equal that volume over a long period of time. Nonetheless, since they inconsiderately chose to not service the general public that they normally depend on, I refuse to ever step foot in that place again.
Go at your own risk - they may have decided to randomly not want your business!
