Since I live only a block from Bullwinkle's, it's great fun to walk down and play around with friends and family. As a teacher and still in my twenties, I understand all too well teenage attitudes, behaviours, and all of that. HOWEVER, I have never seen such rude behaviour from teenage workers! I keep hoping that I arrive to better service, but have yet to see it. Every single person who works there (apart from those who work in the booth where you purchase ride tickets) is rude, bored, and could care less about their job. They act as if you are doing them a disservice by coming in and making them work. We've had a couple instances where we put our tokens in to play Air Hockey to find there isn't a puck! Tracking down one of the kids is a pain in and of itself and they're usually pretty rude about it, rolling their eyes and taking their sweet time to find a puck.
That said, there are plenty of things to do for everyone in the family. I love riding the go-karts and bumper boats (especially in the heat!), My best friend and I have a blast playing the old school arcade games like Skeet Ball and the newer ones like Deal or No Deal. She took the kids she nannies for and they had a blast. However, (and this goes back to the ridiculous customer service) one of the games they were playing ran out of tickets. The kids tracked down a worker who, oh so reluctantly, talked on his headset to have someone go fix it. My friend and I couldn't believed how inconvenienced he looked and treated two little kids!
If you can deal with the awful customer service, Bullwinkle's is a fun place to play around. The owner should heed these complaints and either change staffing or train them in customer service...or at least general manners. If they're going to have a private party, they should also let people know the place will be closed during those times.
Pros: great rides, fun activties
Cons: abysmal customer service
