Most delicious, tender, seasoned filet I've ever had in Austin. I've eaten them all too. That said, for the price of the bone-in filet, I want perfect service. This is hit or miss. The first 3-4 times I went with my wife it was super. I took business clients the next 2-3 times (dropped over $1,000 all three times) and it was just good. The last time we went I took my brother and sis-in-law and my wife. Service was terrible. Got sat in the bar after I specifically requested no bar area in the reservation I made. Server forgot my salad and didn't, I repeat, didn't ask for a temp on my steak! I ended up having to chase her down in the main dining area and remind her no temp was asked. Overall, have had good experiences at III Forks though.
Pros: filet, wine list, bartenders
Cons: hit or miss service, pricey
