This vet will take advantage of you and charge hundreds more than they tell you. I was told it would cost $150 but in the end they charged me $800!!! I was upfront the whole time and told them I was concerned about cost. They performed expensive procedures without contacting me first. Even though I kept saying I didn't have hundreds of dollars to spend on a cat, they kept adding charges although they told me some of it would be for free. In the end, they acknowledged that they told me the cost would not be over $150 but refused to work with me at all. The attitude was pretty much "too bad." There are many other vets in the area- choose someone else.
