I was appauled when i read the bad review on Dr. Deb. She has been my vet for 11 years and i can't imagine taking them to see anyone else. She is so passionate and personal with my pets and always investigates every option available for the best and most cost effective treatments. This person who had a bad experience must not know her very well.I recommend her on a daily basis.... more

Wisdom, Accuracy and Compasion = Dr. Deb G. 11/23/2010

I am always impressed and awed when I take my canine children to Ridgeview Animal Hospital only to have Dr. Deb begin the session by greeting my dog and myself out in the waiting area and sense her experienced antenae already on high alert in observing and assessing my pet before even reaching the exam room. This is so refreshing and appreciated as opposed to checking in and waiting an untold time in the exam room before the Vet can lay eyes on my little guy. In this fashion, I feel that she is taking in every aspect of my pet's health from a total perspective rather than\r focusing on current symptoms only. In this process, she addresses\r and engages the owner from the first moment with her observations and information gathering so that when we reach the exam room, she has already a detective's eye for pursuing the details that will either confirm or rule out any possible causes for the symptoms at hand. -- When I leave the clinic, I always feel that every possible treatment aspect is more

An extraordinary veterinary physician 11/23/2010

I'm as discerning about which veterinarian I will entrust with my pets as parents are when choosing a pediatrician for their human children. Deb Glaum, DVM ("Dr. Deb") is an extraordinary veterinary physician with areas of deep expertise that set her far, far apart from the average veterinarian. She is a true scientist and intellect with years of applied experience - and an uncommon quest to conquer elusive challenges faced by veterinary practitioners everywhere. That brand of veterinarian is rare and hard to find. Dr. Deb is a much loved and gifted friend to animals and their owners. Plus, she has a fabulous sense of humor. After more than five years of working with her, I'm increasingly grateful that Ridgeview Animal Hospital is so close to me in Olathe, Kansas. more

Best vet I've ever worked with 11/23/2010

I've worked closely with veterinarians in four states plus a foreign country, and have never worked with more experienced, ethical and gifted friends to animals than the physicians and staff at Ridgeview Animal Hospital in Olathe, KS. Dr. Barbara Stuart has operated the clinic for 20 years and has the deep experience a pet needs to stay healthy - and especially when something is wrong. Unlike many vets with decades of experience, Dr. Stuart stays current on new developments and treatments in her field of practice. She encourages and supports her staff in attending seminars and workshops to further their knowledge and experience as well, which is is uncommon. I greatly appreciate the staff's higher levels of knowledge. Also unlike many vets, Dr. Stuart and all vets on her staff are excellent educators who take time to help owners understand. I'm as discerning about which veterinarian I will entrust with my pets as parents are when choosing a pediatrician for their human children. I won't accept anything less than the exceptional care and expertise provided by Ridgeview Animal Hospital. What's telling is that dogs know who their friends are, and my two boys love going there. Five stars aren't enough. I give this clinic a 10. more

Vet will mislead and take advantage 7/9/2010

This vet will take advantage of you and charge hundreds more than they tell you. I was told it would cost $150 but in the end they charged me $800!!! I was upfront the whole time and told them I was concerned about cost. They performed expensive procedures without contacting me first. Even though I kept saying I didn't have hundreds of dollars to spend on a cat, they kept adding charges although they told me some of it would be for free. In the end, they acknowledged that they told me the cost would not be over $150 but refused to work with me at all. The attitude was pretty much "too bad." There are many other vets in the area- choose someone else. more

They care! 8/5/2008

If you care about your pet's health, take them to Ridgeview Animal Hospital. They really care about making sure your pet is healthy. They are very accomodating in getting you an appointment when needed, and they really try to make your pet feel comfortable while they're there. The send out card to remind you of upcoming immunizations needed. Prices are a little higher than I'd been used to, but having my vet right in the neighborhood outweighed the difference in price! more

I feel That Dr. Sheuy needs to go back to school. She seems RAW and lacks in confidence. more
