I took our family chihuahua in for a seizure and was asked immediatey for a $400 deposit. I immediately forked out 4 $100 bllls so they could administer treatment.With-in 15 minutes, I was presented with a ESTIMATE on what it would cost to administer care for our family pet for the next 24 hours. I was floored when I learned the estmate "may range" from $1240-$1550 and included 18-20 different charges and must be paid in advance or they would not treat our beloved pet. We had no idea why our dog had gone into seizure and we were getting no answers from the Vet. Our other dog was missing and we thought they might have eaten rat poison but had no evidence or comfirnation, With my two daughters by my side, we agrued and toiled with this difficult decision to euthanize Lilly.
