I agree with So Unhappy and very much in the same boat. They were great with the initial consultation. Met with the Attorney himself and got a payment plan from him. We paid this amount for about 1 year. Then we get a call for more paperwork but NEVER called back. Next thing we know, we received our confirmation papers and found out that our payment went up by $1000.00 more a month with no advance warning AND the new payment was due 2 days later. \r

We made an appointment with their ""paralegal"" to discuss this matter and to possibly modify our plan. We asked him why our payments went up and he cockily said ""it was ALWAYS that amount"". (meaning it was always at the higher amount)\r

They had put us right back into the position on why we claimed BK in the first place or even put us MORE in the hole. If we knew this, we wouldnt have claimed in the first place. This guy had NO compassion at all and talked to us like we were illiterate but we were only trying to understand what the heck was going on. We had the chance to modify our payments by a great amount by furnishing expense receipts. This guy pretty much told us that the trustee wouldn't approve the modification and that we would have to go thru the whole process again. These people already got awarded their money for their fees, why should we spend another 6,000.00 for another attorney.\r

Once they get their $$$$, forget it. These people are cold hearted SOBs and don't deserve the 1 star.\r
