I am writing this e-mail to you and both Mr. Haines and Mr. Krieger so they know what a kind and consoling person that you are. Cheyenne by far you have a position with your company that not too many people can do. From the moment I walked through the door and until you, Cheyenne escorted me to meet with Matt Foster you made me feel comfortable answered my questions and dealt with my mistakes. I was very nervous when I first came to Haines & Krieger in July, not knowing what to expect regarding certain personal issues I needed to discuss. I must tell you I have had a least 4 meeting within the last two months with various members of your staff. Your staff is unbelievable, they are very knowledgeable, compassionate, kind and understanding from the Receptionist to the Analyst to the Para Legal and above. I am so happy that I retained your company to represent me. I have and will continue to tell my family and friends that Haines & Krieger are a great Law Firm and they care about people. more

I was really depressed and frankly embarassed about my money situation. A family friend kept telling me to go see the attorneys at Haines Krieger so I gave them a call. They asked me some questions and got to know my situation. They recommended some options to me and I chose the one that was best for me. I’m out of debt now and I feel like a new person thanks to them. more

I agree with So Unhappy and very much in the same boat. They were great with the initial consultation. Met with the Attorney himself and got a payment plan from him. We paid this amount for about 1 year. Then we get a call for more paperwork but NEVER called back. Next thing we know, we received our confirmation papers and found out that our payment went up by $1000.00 more a month with no advance warning AND the new payment was due 2 days later. \r \r We made an appointment with their ""paralegal"" to discuss this matter and to possibly modify our plan. We asked him why our payments went up and he cockily said ""it was ALWAYS that amount"". (meaning it was always at the higher amount)\r \r They had put us right back into the position on why we claimed BK in the first place or even put us MORE in the hole. If we knew this, we wouldnt have claimed in the first place. This guy had NO compassion at all and talked to us like we were illiterate but we were only trying to understand what the heck was going on. We had the chance to modify our payments by a great amount by furnishing expense receipts. This guy pretty much told us that the trustee wouldn't approve the modification and that we would have to go thru the whole process again. These people already got awarded their money for their fees, why should we spend another 6,000.00 for another attorney.\r \r Once they get their $$$$, forget it. These people are cold hearted SOBs and don't deserve the 1 star.\r \r DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!!!!!! Pros: NOTHING Cons: EVERYTING more

I would NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE! They were great with the initial consultation, but afterwords they were terrible. They lost my original documents which left me scrambling to get new docs. They didn't explain anything, they also told me that there might be a chance to get the bk discharged after a year - LIE!! After speaking with another attorney I found out that I can have my bankruptcy modified when H&K said I couldn't. Once your case is complete, don't expect them to help!
