Not worth the Trip 7/14/2010

We drove up from Homestead because we were told mint leaf had good quality indian food and good service! so we made the trip!\r \r The food was not good at all! The naan came out burnt and the Lamb tasted old too! Even the shrimp was still a bit cold in the center and yet we were told by the young girl who served us that the seafood was not frozen but it was! I could tell! The advertisement said they had master chefs from india working there??!! I dont think so!\r \r I hate being served bad food but worst of all I hate being lied to! I believe her name was Jenny! She was so rude to us and she took forever to come back to our table with our drinks and papadams/ chutney! She spent like an hour in the kitchen and kept coming out empty handed and my husband was hungry too!\r \r After our bad meal, I realized why Jenny was so slow to serve her tables.. As i went down the hall to to use the ladies room, I saw her making out with one of the chefs in the back! She was more interested in Kissing the cooks rather than serving her tables and making money!\r \r I WILL NEVER GO BACK! SHE IS NOT PROFESSIONAL AND SHE SHOULD NOT BE WORKING THERE! POINT BLANK!\r \r I am only writing this review because I hate being lied to and that girl lied to us and it really got under my skin! its not her restaurant, she could of just told us the seafood was frozen or not fresh and i would of ordered something else and still tipped her good! But she tried to sell us on the expensive Jhinga dish and of course we got Jhinga'ed' out of our money! Thank you! Pros: Indian dancing on the TV's was nice Cons: Bad food and Being lied to by our server! more
