Interviews At Employment Hotline 7/5/2010

I recently have been looking for a job. The problem is is that you should not apply for jobs you are not qualified for. I found that I applied for a job that I had no experience in. Not only do you waste your time but that of the interviewer as well. It was explained to me that although I had experience in one job I did not have experience in another job. I was told my resume would be sent to the company seeking to fill that position. If the employer is interested, Employment Hotline will call you back. If they haven't call it it's because the company looking to fill the position was not interested in you. This is no fault of Employment Hotline. All temp agencies work the same way. Also, for some clerical jobs, you need your skills assessed and will be tested; if you don't show up for the assessment skills testing, your resume stops there. You must also pass a background check....if you don't pass that your resume stops there as well. Make sure you cross your t's and dot your i's before criticizing this company. I waited several months before I landed a temp to perm job and I'm glad I had PATIENCE TO WAIT. If you don't have patience, then you need to look elsewhere for a job. Pros: Must Be There at the Right time Cons: Not everyone gets a job more
