I'm dying from laughter-- pay no attention to ""gofins."" Wood floors? Rats? How ignorant do you have to be?
For one, ice rinks do not have wood floors under their surfaces-- that's absolutely ridiculous. There are no broken windows, and even if there is a ""broken window in the back""-- the entire back is FENCED OFF from the back street.
And where are these imaginary r@ts and why has Iceland been around FIFTY years without any sort of health establishment shutting them down? Yeah, r@ts sure do explain the ""A"" health grade hanging in the Ice Age Cafe.
By the way, cash receipts are not required-- what does the IRS have to do with that? I've requested one once and they were happy to write one out, but what's the point when you get your admission sticker as proof.
Honestly, bitter and misinformed people are laughable. Take it from a regular, this place is no immaculate architectural masterpiece, but it is homey, family-oriented, safe, warm, and accommodating, and that's all a paying customer needs.
