I went in for a rhinoplasty consultation exactly 4 months ago today. The consultation went well, it was faster than I expected and it was free.
A few weeks after my consultation, I decided that I wanted to go through with the procedure. So, I made another appointment to meet with surgeon Waldorf to go over exactly what I wanted to happen with my nose. Kathleen is a very confident women and understood what I was trying to achieve with my appearance.
My third meeting was the actual surgery day. I was very nervous, which the staff assured me was normal. I put on my gown and a nurse walked me into the operating room. I was layed on an operating bed and that's the last I remember until I woke up 2 hours later.
By time I got home and fully recuperated, I was in no pain at all. Just mild bleeding and swelling. The nurse called the next morning to help me take out the packing that was stuffed in my nostrils. She seemed rushed and in a hurry. But, no biggie. I was just happy I got to take the packing out.
A week later, I went in to get the splint off of my nose and my four stiches out. what a relief! The nurse did that for me. It didn't hurt at all and I finally got to see my new nose. Even though it was still really swollen.
Two weeks later I went back in to meet with Dr. Waldorf to make sure I was healing properly. All was well.. My meeting with her was literally 30 seconds..
Four months later, I am happy with my new nose. I still have minor swelling in the tip. I would recommend the Waldorf Center to a friend.
