Editorial review from Citysearch 3/21/2013

Super friendly staff I felt very welcomed there, they answered all the questions I had and many more Amanda and Lesley are great super easy to talk to. Dr.Waldorf does a great job I had a breast augmentation and I have no complaints.. I will say Erin the PA comes across alittle rude but I don't think she means to its probably just her personality or she was having a bad day.. I would for sure with out a doubt recommend going to this place :) more

Editorial review from Citysearch 1/21/2013

I had a great experience at the Waldorf Center. I had a lower body lift in late 2012 and the procedure and recovery went very well. Dr. Waldorf and her staff are very professional, likeable, caring and punctual. This was a great experience and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great female surgeon doing this procedure. If I ever need any further work done I will return to this office. more

BEWARE DR.SHANNON OBRIEN 10/22/2011

She was horrible, late, rude and dismissive. I lodged a complaint here and also with Dr.Waldorf. Dr.Waldorf agreed that she is ""hard to get along with"" and that that they had had problems with her in the past. She also creates fake names to offer rebuttals on this site to her bad reviews!!! Pretending like she's a client of the waldorf center! She hires companies to get her bad reviews off the site. It's is really awful and I feel very scared that she is in the medical community. I have heard a lot of bad stuff about her. more

Worst experience...BE WARE..once you pay. 10/12/2011

This person will lure you in, have the staff be as sweet, attentive, call, email, etc. Once they get your money and you get a botch job, you are treated like the person she's ends up creating. Dr. Waldorf has the bed side manner of a wart hog, and she is about as cruel and demeaning as any person I have ever met. Plays games to keep from righting her ""wrongs""...Beware. She does NOT care about helping you...the ""bottom $$ line"" is her warmth at the end of the day. NOT trying to help her fellow man. more

In response to ""The Worst/Dr. Shannon O'Brien 7/28/2010

I would like to say that I witnessed this unfortunate event in the waiting room, and when I saw this review, I just had to respond. This woman was NOT told that Dr. O'Brien was late for work; the lady was early to her appointment, and she was Dr. O'Brien’s first appt of the day. When Dr. O'Brien came out to assure the woman that she would be happy to see her, that having the MRI results weren't necessary for the consultation appt, the woman said Dr. O'Brien was wrong. She screamed and yelled at Dr. O'Brien and the receptionist before flying out the door, making quite a scene. Dr. O'Brien said to her as the woman was walking away, ""Well if you change your mind, we would be happy to help you"". You could tell that both the receptionist (who was in tears) and Dr. O'Brien were very distraught, but they both handled themselves very well. They were very professional. Dr. O'Brien NEVER said she was ""too busy"", ""so what"" or ""see ya"". And it was Dr. O'Brien and the receptionist who got the door slammed in their face when the woman flew out in hysteria. I'm ashamed of you for lying on a public forum about what exactly was said and what exactly happened, and defaming Dr. O'Brien's good name. She is a lovely woman, which is more than I could say of you. more

My rhinoplasty 6/16/2010

I went in for a rhinoplasty consultation exactly 4 months ago today. The consultation went well, it was faster than I expected and it was free. A few weeks after my consultation, I decided that I wanted to go through with the procedure. So, I made another appointment to meet with surgeon Waldorf to go over exactly what I wanted to happen with my nose. Kathleen is a very confident women and understood what I was trying to achieve with my appearance. My third meeting was the actual surgery day. I was very nervous, which the staff assured me was normal. I put on my gown and a nurse walked me into the operating room. I was layed on an operating bed and that's the last I remember until I woke up 2 hours later. By time I got home and fully recuperated, I was in no pain at all. Just mild bleeding and swelling. The nurse called the next morning to help me take out the packing that was stuffed in my nostrils. She seemed rushed and in a hurry. But, no biggie. I was just happy I got to take the packing out. A week later, I went in to get the splint off of my nose and my four stiches out. what a relief! The nurse did that for me. It didn't hurt at all and I finally got to see my new nose. Even though it was still really swollen. Two weeks later I went back in to meet with Dr. Waldorf to make sure I was healing properly. All was well.. My meeting with her was literally 30 seconds.. Four months later, I am happy with my new nose. I still have minor swelling in the tip. I would recommend the Waldorf Center to a friend. Pros: Clean, professional, all women staff Cons: Snooty, front desk employee un-organized more

Wonderful spa and surgery center 1/27/2010

She does an incredible job head to toe. Two of my friends have had facial and body work done and turned out beautifully! One of them had a crooked nose problem that she straightened and refined and she looks great. I've been in her office several times and she has the newest technology that I've read about, including both fraxel lasers. Pros: Beautiful new facility, friendly competent staff Cons: Sometimes hard to get on the schedule more

Worst mistake of my life! 7/23/2009

I had a facelift done by Dr. Waldorf about 2 years ago and what a mistake that was! I get depressed now looking in the mirror due to the scars I now have! I should of done my homework & researched her qualifications and wished I had looked at this website before going to her. Cons: do your research more

Be careful 7/6/2009

She did what she called a sliding osteotomy on my chin because my chin was receding. This caused pain for years and still does, screws in my jaw I can feel. I developed sagging in the chin called ptosis which an oral surgeon says was caused because she performed the first surgery inappropriately.\r \r I had to have a revision which was only minimally successful and cost me thousands. I looked better before the surgery. more

Patients have died during her procedures. 10/14/2008

Have your attorney reasearch Dr. Waldorf and history of patients who lost thier life while treated by her. You will not go there again. Trust me more

Waldorf - I would not recommend 7/24/2007

I went to see Dr. Waldorf for a mid face lift consultation. She convinced me that it would accomplish the best results to have my entire face done at once, cheek lift, upper and lower eyes, and browlift. I was also told that I would be taken care of at the Meridian Park care center. There has been absolutely no follow up. My opinion is the upfront niceness only lasts until you have surgery, and then your on your own. My results are not any where near what I expected and in fact I look worse. My stay at the care center was awful, I would absolutely never go there - if your only choice is to go home alone - do so. This experience has been a traumatic nightmare, and it is now nearly 5 months later. more

great place 7/27/2005

I went to Dr. Waldorf for an evaluation for facial rejuvenation and was happy to find that she would do my eye lift right there in her private surgical suite attached to her office. She also has a medical day spa where I can get my facials and microdermabrasion from the most talented estheticians around. Pros: great service, kind employees more
