I made an appt to have 2 cysts removed. I confirmed that this would be performed at this appt and that I didn't want to have to return for a second appt. I also called ahead the day of the appt to see if she was running on time, to which the office worker said yes. I waited over 1 1/2 hrs. Dr Effron rushed in and without my permission burns a few sunspots off my face and told me I would have to schedule each cyst separately for $300 per procedure. I was charged $200 for the visit. When I protested and told her what I had prearranged, she yelled at me and told me ""she was the doctor around here."" In my opinion the staff act fearful as if they are verbally abused. I made an appt at Dr. Applebaum on Tustin Ave. What a difference. He appreciated my business treated me like a valued patient. He removed both cysts without making me come back. He also rmoved a few skin tags all for under $200. AVOID THIS RUDE AND INCOMPETENT DR EFFRON! PS She also talked me into her sun screen product which doesn't work. She claims that all other products out there are shams but hers. What arrogance!
