We had a leak so we called Gillece for repairs. They charged us $65 to come which I understood. The plumber told us it may cost up to $700 to find and fix the leak which I thought was ridiculous and wanted a second opinion. He then said if he could find it quickly it would cost less. He found the leak in literally 30 seconds! He then told us to come and find the leak with no repair would cost us $438!!!! At that point, they make you sign the contract so you have no choice unless you want to lose $438 for a total 5 minute visit! He then charged us another $373 for the repair. For a 2 hour job he charged us a total of $830!!!! That is $415 per hour! In talking to another plumber this job should have cost under $180. Gillece is ALL about the money so be VERY CAREFUL before you call them. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone! They currently carry a D- rating from the Better Business Bureau due to these kind of issues. They also are in the midst of being sued by other plumbers which indicates the kinds of reputation they have.
Pros: same day service....you will pay for!
Cons: overpriced is putting it mildly - D- BBB rating!
