III Forks is the best steak restaurant in Austin, TX. You get great food, great service & special attention from the everyone including the manager. We had the prime filet and lobster paired with a Cakebread Napa Cab. The III Forks salad was fabulous made with a chilled fresh green leaf lettuce topped with blue cheese crumbles, special dressing & sugar coated pecans. The filet was so tender you could cut it with a plate and the lobster was prepared to perfection. Sides of fresh sliced tomatoes, green onions & creamed corn tasted like they were right out of the garden. Can't say enough about our attentive waiter and the manager's visits to our table. They've been trained well to serve the customer. A fantastic wine list of variety and many vintages is available. We topped the entrée off with a delicious mango sorbet, hot espresso and a glass of Far Niente Dolce. The dining experience is well worth the price. We gave it a +10 for both food & service.
