I recently had my car hit in a parking lot with minor damage. Set up the repair with Haddocks in Fuquay since it's only 5 minutes from the house and they had repaired our lexus in the past. My neighbor told me to use Triangle because they do awesome work,so I canceled my appt with Haddocks and took it to them. Let me say they do awesome work, but when picking up the car I did a walk around and noticed some paint chips, the size of a quarter, that where not there before, my guess using a pressure washer to clean the car. Told the manager and he did not apologize or offer to fix at their expense. He blamed it on some poor body work previously done, which could be the case, but it went into their shop without the chips and I have taken it through laser car washes several times with any problem. He told me to bring it in on the weekend and would charge me his cost, which is BS. I'm not one to make a big scene so I told him I would call in a couple of weeks, which I did. He repaired what was needed and thinking he wouldn't charge me since it was their fault, I asked if it was still $$$ and he said yes. That right there lost a customer for life and I will never refer anyone to them. What happened to business ethics and customer service, especially when that business is at fault.
RESPONSE FROM Triangle Collision:
Your review prompted us to take another look at the situation, and while we do believe that the paint delaminated due to a poor previous repair, we stand behind our guarantee of complete satisfaction. We have issued a full refund and apologize for the misunderstanding. We appreciate your business and hope that we can serve you in the future.
