The first clue to this place as not being authentic is the Chinese waitress dressed in Chinese garb. I'm of Japanese heritage. I ordered the Tempura Shrimp. They were large and so was the portion, however they were VERY OILY and bland tasting. My husband ordered the Teriyaki NY Strip. I Thought it would be grilled but it wasn't. It was served on bean sprouts with red and green peppers and onion covered in a sesame sauce. I never had food like this in Japan. The entrees were served with a very weak tasting miso soup. The salad was a typical lettuce salad with their house dressing. The house dressing was very tasty but they drowned the salad with it. I see all the previous reviews have been since 2009. This was our first time there. This place must have changed.
