We turned to this nearby restaurant when our regular, Tao, decided to close on Mondays. The interior could easily be out-matched by any Chinese buffet, and although some of the greatest restaurants have thought of everything but the decor, this was clearly not the case. The dumplings were soggy, food arrival was staggered and awkward, and the dismal presentation was rivaled only by the appalling taste and quantity of sauces intended to compensate: My friend's beef Sukiyaki looked like dog food at a homeless shelter; the Yakisoba resembled cheap Lo Mein; and predictably, the best thing at the table was fried. The salmon sashimi could have been better carved with an axe. If you want Sushi of this caliber, go to an actual 'Chinese' buffet and save some money, or get something made for humans at Fresh Market. As for me, I paid the bill, went home, and took some Pepto Bismol. Pros: Conforms well to Memphis' low standards Cons: Slow, inauthentic, dirty more
