Went in to purchase a set of super high scope rings.Kid behind the counter didn't know what I was talking about.I gave him my factory Ruger rings from from my Hawkeye rifle and told him I needed higher rings to mount a 50mm scope,he looked confused so he knocked on a door behind him and dummy # 2 emerges,I assume he is the shop ""gunsmith"",he said my rings were super high rings and he doubted I would be able to find any higher rings!Give me a break!I try to do business locally but when there is such a lack of knowledge in these shops you have to go to the internet.Ordered a set from Cabela's and had them in a few days.If you dont know anything about simple scope rings what are you doing working in a ""Gun Shop""..??
