I checked their website regarding Sunday brunch and wanted to bring my mother there for mother's day. Their website said ""Join us for Sunday Brunch, $29.95 per person including a complimentary bloody mary or mimosa"" ""Please consider joining us on Sunday May 9th for mothers day!"" That's all it said. I made my reservation 3 weeks in advance and confirmed the prices with the hostess I spoke with. So we sit down for brunch this morning and order our ""complimentary"" bloody marys and mimosas..and the waiter simply says ""oh they aren't complimentary today"" and walks away fast before we can change our minds or ask for an explanation. The crab cakes and oysters were very good but there was no omelette station as advertised. The staff clearly had no desire to be at work today and pushed and shoved around all the customers in the buffett lines. A lot of dishes I pulled the lids off of were empty and not efficiently being refilled and there were very poor attitudes at the meat carving station with fatty tough pieces being handed out. Also, scrambled eggs were the only breakfast type item on display. The biggest surprise was when we got our bill, it was 105$ for 3 people to have brunch, the drinks were an extra $35, and they had already included a 20% tip when it was a buffett meal and we saw our waiter maybe 3 times. It was advertised as $29.95 a person, they charged a lot more than that and charged for bloody mary's on top of it.. the only explanation we got was that it ""costs more on holidays"" . We would have spoken with a manager but the staff was running around like crazy and we couldnt' even find someone to speak with. We feel very very cheated and would hesitate to return even though the food was very good, but we just feel like they got away with something and it was way overpriced for the selection and service.
Pros: great crabcakes and oysters
Cons: false advertising about brunch
