I have been coming to this place for years. Love Brrunch on Sundays. It seems thatt he food is consistant, but the wait staff seem to be a bunch of prima donnas who think they are above doing their job! I guess it is because they add the tip automatically to your check. Here is a hint: If your service is as bad as mine, speak to the manager and tell him or her to remove the added gratuity and then give what they REALLY deserve. I bet they will change their tune then! Make them work for their money like the rest of us. more

Phenomenal. Blackened Grouper and Lamb Chops top notch. Service fabulous, bartenders the best. more

Food is 'good' but expensive. The restaurant is directly next to a bridge so the noise is deafening. more

I'm not usually compelled to write horrible reviews but this restaurant was particularly awful and is listed by inlanderdale.com as "the place to go". \r \r First off, we had no choice but to valet our car. Second, when we came in the maitre d' told us we had to order our food in less than five minutes or we wouldn't be served. Then, when the food came out it wasn't very good anyway. Because we were so rushed all I had was the caprese salad. The tomatoes were very mushy, and their was hardly any balsamic vinaigrette.\r \r This was one of the worst restaurants ever, and needs a serious "pick-me-up" to stay in business. more

Waiter was very knowledgable about all the food on the menu. Food was delicious. I tried the salmon( which i got blackend) with corn scallion butter sauce and dill mashed potatoes. It was fantastic. I also had their ceaser salad which was also great. And you can't leave there without dessert! Give the creme brûlée and chocolate torte a try. Also the lunch is two for one. Can't beat that! I have become a regular. more

have been a regular at the blue moon for the last 10years and have brought many guests to the restaurant and they intern have done the same. our last visit this past week we noticed a change in the way the food is prepared and not to our liking also a dish we always order lagastinos was delivered missing half the ingredients which the manager agreed that the order was prepared incorrectly. more

We went to Blue Moon Fish Company for a Father's Day dinner. We sat outside under a cover with a view of the Intra-coastal waterway. The restaurant is definitely expensive, but the food and service were all very good. We started with drinks and appetizers. We had Bang Bang Oysters and the Sushi plate. Both were very good. The drinks, a Margarita and a Cosmopolitan were also good.\r I had the Sea Bass which was excellent. My wife had the blackened Mahi Mahi, that was actually blackened, not just grilled with blackened seasoning. It was prepared properly, and was also very good. My daughter had the grouper, it was also very good. My other daughter had the Tuna, and it was lightly seared and she enjoyed it as well.\r The waiter was helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu items, and when I suggested a Chardonnay to go with the meal, he suggested a Sauvignon Blanc that paired very well with the Sea Bass and even the Mahi Mahi. For desert we had the Bananas foster, which was very good. I also had the "Under the Moon" coffee and my wife had the traditional Irish Coffee. Both were very good as well.\r We were really apprehensive to try this location given how truly horrible the Blue Moon in Coral Springs is. My wife surprised me for Father's day, and it worked out well. We mentioned how bad the Coral Springs location was to the waiter. He explained the whole story about that location, and that they are different, and even considering pulling the Blue Moon name from them. \r Some of the few problems, only valet parking. There are meters across the street. Why do restaurants do this? They should ALWAYS make self parking an option. Also, when we got to the restaurant about a half hour early at 5:30 we were turned away by the valet, and never given the option to have a drink at the bar while waiting. We came back and parked at the meters about 5:45 and went in. We were seated just a few minutes later, otherwise we would have had a drink at the bar.\r The hostess and waiter were pleasant and there were no problems at all, so I can't say how they would have been handled. It was very expensive, but at least it was a good meal. Don't confuse this with the Coral Springs restaurant with the same name, that location is truly awful, horrible - stay away. This was really nice. more

I had heard good reviews on BMFC; We were there for Mother's day yesterday-5/8/11 and it was just shy of horrendous!\r Noisy, stations set up by the kitchen, so patrons had to be careful of running into staff-food was not labeled, so my Mom had no idea what she was eating..service was average. Seemed chaotic and too crowded, no sense of class or elegance! All four of us were very disappointed. Never again! more

My husband and two children ate here while on vacation\r We spoke to the locals who stated it was worth eating at and I'm happy to say they were correct\r The staff was very attentive and polite\r We had the baby spinach salad which is enough for two,the waiter offered to split up the two that we ordered into four\r The dressing was superb and everything was fresh\r We had the grouper and sea bass both were prepared perfectly. The icky sticky and choc dessert was the perfect \r Ending to the meal these are large enough to split\r The menu is different from the one posted it's better\r The best part other then the view was we ate all of this for right at $200\r This family from Kentucky highly recommends this one more

HORRIBLE! The wait staff was slow and snobby. I don't know what they thought they had to be that stuck up over. The food was merely average and WAT overpriced. For three of us they added a 20% tip into the bill. They clearly think they are better than they are. more

Stuffy, expensive , and bad food. Coke was flat. Bread costs $1.50. Salmon for lunch was maybe three ounces served on a bed of mashed instant potatoes. No kidding. I am a real FOODIE and going out to dine is a priority. Skip this one if you really like good food. more

Very good food and service! Had lunch on a weekday and it was busy, but not crowded. Can be a little loud on the "air-conditioned patio" area, perhaps the acoustics of having the plastic drapes down in the summer. Haven't tried the cooler months yet (they roll the covers up) when you can sit right by the intracoastal waterway, my only concern is the nearby draw bridge. Can you tell I don't like noise? They offer one free entrée with the purchase of a drink, also applies to desserts (the Liquid Center Chocolate Tart is awesome!) AND 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill (just a tip, pardon the pun). Other than that, the experience was great! more

OVERPRICED RIPOFF 7/22/2010

I have eaten at your location several times in the past but tonight was a different experience....please read the below..... 1. The sea bass was served undercooked and raw. After sending back for more fire it did not taste fresh and was mealy/stringy and had a aftertaste...2. The snapper was good. No aftertaste. Decent portion. Side portions were a bit strange tasting and they give you a huge clump of mash potatos underneath the fish but all and all this was a decent choice. Even through we live on the water here it is still difficult to find fresh fish well prepared in a restaurant. Not cheap at $35.00 per pop... c Even through we live on the water here it is still difficult to find fresh fish well prepared in a restaurant. Not cheap at $35.00 per pop. 3. The bibb salad was mediocre with the large pieces of lettuce uncut and all of the extras were soaked on the bottom of the strange shape salad bowl. At $12.00 for this salad it is overpriced and not worth it. In fact all of the salads are overpriced on the menu and not worth picking any of them. How do they have the nerve to charge 12.00 for 8 pieces of lettuce ? 4. The tuna bruscetta appetizer was small pieces and portions of minced tuna on 3 crackers. Non-descript flavor and overpriced again. 4. The cosmopolitan martini was a looser and not prepared well at all. 5. Key lime pie should be taken off the menu. A joke with no lime flavor. No flavor at all. and a massive ripoff at $12.00. I was born in South Florida and have lived here for 50years and the key lime pie was a disgrace. All of the desserts are grossly overpriced at $12-13 ea.....and that was the dealbreaker for me...i will not give this place another chance again. ever. stay away. there are better quality seafood places in town especially in the summer with the dirty plastic panels in your face overlooking the intercoastal bridge. Hasta la vista baby....a big overpriced ripoff of a dinner. Pros: X Cons: READ BELOW more

very very misleading, good food...but feel cheated 5/9/2010

I checked their website regarding Sunday brunch and wanted to bring my mother there for mother's day. Their website said ""Join us for Sunday Brunch, $29.95 per person including a complimentary bloody mary or mimosa"" ""Please consider joining us on Sunday May 9th for mothers day!"" That's all it said. I made my reservation 3 weeks in advance and confirmed the prices with the hostess I spoke with. So we sit down for brunch this morning and order our ""complimentary"" bloody marys and mimosas..and the waiter simply says ""oh they aren't complimentary today"" and walks away fast before we can change our minds or ask for an explanation. The crab cakes and oysters were very good but there was no omelette station as advertised. The staff clearly had no desire to be at work today and pushed and shoved around all the customers in the buffett lines. A lot of dishes I pulled the lids off of were empty and not efficiently being refilled and there were very poor attitudes at the meat carving station with fatty tough pieces being handed out. Also, scrambled eggs were the only breakfast type item on display. The biggest surprise was when we got our bill, it was 105$ for 3 people to have brunch, the drinks were an extra $35, and they had already included a 20% tip when it was a buffett meal and we saw our waiter maybe 3 times. It was advertised as $29.95 a person, they charged a lot more than that and charged for bloody mary's on top of it.. the only explanation we got was that it ""costs more on holidays"" . We would have spoken with a manager but the staff was running around like crazy and we couldnt' even find someone to speak with. We feel very very cheated and would hesitate to return even though the food was very good, but we just feel like they got away with something and it was way overpriced for the selection and service. Pros: great crabcakes and oysters Cons: false advertising about brunch more
